How to manage your time ??
In today's world , one of the most common excuse is that "I do not have time ". Recently when I met my drawing teacher coincidently, she told me how this so called GenZ have such a silly excuse that they don't have time (includes me too ^_^) . She told me how 25 years ago they had no portable smartphones , they had to walk all the way to school from far distances , they did not have online options to solve their doubts, they had a life without microwaves , refrigerators , ACs, Washing machines , Dish washers and such advancement in technology. They had to work even more harder and still managed to finish everything on time , then how is it that this generation finds it hard to find time when we can get everything done within a snap of a finger ??
This really evoked me , why is it that we complain that we don't have no time ?
Ever since then , I am trying my best to find the best answer for the question. The following are few steps I took towards better time management.
1 . START WITH LITTLE STEPS
The truth is that there is no best answer to this question as everyone has a different approach . But when we map the road ahead in life the journey is easygoing and smooth. Using this principle I started making small to-do lists for the day . This helped me identify my priorities for the day .
2. MAKE A TIMETABLE
Once you get your goal for the day it's time you prepare your day accordingly . This method helps you to know how much time you have in hand to get your pending things done which you initially found tough.
3. ANALYSE YOUR PROGRESS
All things are interconnected to each other in life. It is necessary to have the upright morales within us to analyse ourselves. This method helps us understand ourselves better . When you will look back at your timetable which you made a week ago, analyse how you have improved , and also what modifications you can make to the existing timetable for a better result.
4. BE CONSISTENT
Consistency is the key here ! You do not get the results overnight, you need to be consistent with whatever you are doing . You can look back a month ago and compare the 'you' in the present . If you are consistent you will surely find a change within you . It is said that inorder to develop a habit it takes around 21 days , so here are your next 21 days to inculcate an optimistic temperament within yourself .
A fun fact , todays blog was also a result of my healthy time management . I recently made a resolution to go for a walk everyday at 8:30 in the evening to refresh my mind and a take a break . While I was walking I reflected on how the timetable helped me and how I could help others too. And hence , here I am writing this to my readers !
So the next time somebody asks you if you have time or not your answer should be effortlessly said . Remember there are no perfect answers and perfect timetables , it's just the perfect approach towards these things which makes the difference.
Happy weekends ,
