As the train halts , as the breeze gently brings back nostalgia , Walking by the alleys awakens a side of me, In colourful spirits encounter the embodiment of life , The sparks from the lamps ignite the flame within me, Words refrain from uttering on seeing this beauty , It’s the same temple travelling through all the generations , Walking barefoot on this soil feels home , Taking away uncertainty deep into the depths of its origin , The gods travelling to see the devoted souls, Clearly ruling out a favourite from the sky as it pours down on the parched life, Forever this cycle repeats making it hard to leave this heaven ,  As the sun sets it’s time to descend back into reality , Leaving a reflection that with time loses it’s identity.                                                       -AnniX13

While the whole generation likes to crack jokes or ‘roast ‘others based on their insecurities, I completely am against this trend . Not everything we learn from the internet is ‘cool’ . A person who spent her whole school life working hard that one day she would be recognised would have never known that she would be recognised and trolled for having more facial hair on her face making her look less feminine. Yes I am talking of a rather recent case which was viral on the net .What I am trying to imply is that it ,she embraced the way she was before the internet pointed it out and made it her insecurity. That’s what it is , insecurities aren’t there , they are made ! They are made by people who can’t accept that you can be amazing  without meeting the societal standards. This year was just too fast forwarded. And I refrain from believing that it is December already and just a few more days to go for another start . Hence I decided to leave this year behind on a personal note . So this is how my 2024 was … January started off with promises and resolutions that I ought to have kept . During mid January,I was swayed by the amazing Air show that had taken place in the city . It was an amazing experience for which I had sacrificed my time to study for the next days Hindi exam . It was quite a gamble with my tuition teacher ready to throw her slipper at me if she ever knew I went there and missed her class.  But as soon as the prelims were over I was lined up with another events like handing over my badges and the farewell party . I had to deliver a farewell speech to my house for which I had been preparing for years , that was the only big reason I even wanted to become one .  I even straightened my hair for the first time for my last day at school...

The long awaited festival of Diwali has finally arrived! It’s during this time people be with their loved ones and immerse themselves into the festive spirit! Everyone seems to enjoy this brief period !  This time I wanted to share an experience and more than that convey a strong message.  Diwali is not only about sharing sweets and dry fruits with each other but it’s the festival of giving and being grateful for everything that we have . It’s an auspicious day to start on a new slate while erasing the past. No grudges , no hatred , no jealousy.
