Qualities Needed To Become A Leader

 Do you want to see yourself as a strong individual whom people will look up to ? 

Well today's topic might help you with it . Today we will be talking about Leadership. It is the driving force behind the success of a team. While thinking about what to write this week I came across a question which was asked a lot by many students in school, "How did you become the captain of your school ? How can I also lead ?" To be honest this was an excellent question which even I was unclear of , hence i decided to reflect on this topic for this week .

Leadership is the skill to lead people . So what is a leader? A leader is a person who has acquired all the qualities necessary to lead people. Here are few qualities which build the foundation of a good leader.

1. The Skill To Speak Up 

A leader must know when and how to speak . Only if your voice is heard will it get a nod. Most of us get scared to do tasks because of higher ups at work. We must never let this thought get inside our mindsets .

2. Uniqueness 

We humans are so amusing , we always find for someone who has something that we don't . Uniqueness is another quality which makes us stand out from the crowd . It makes people wonder if you can why can't they ! So never let those insecurities about you hide the uniqueness inside you just to fit in the society.Create your own!

3. Decision maker 

A good leader must be logical, analytical and strategic when they make decisions.A leader must consider everyone's opinions and then make a decision .

4.Take Up Responsibilities 

This is the most important skill you need. If you do not try then how will people know what you have ? Always try to be active in such tasks . Do your job well and you will get recognition this is the important  rule .

5. Be Firm As Well As Soft 

This confuses many , how can I be firm with my fellows as well as friendly ? Many of you must think this is being two-faced . It is not it is again the skill of knowing when to do what . You must know your duties . Everything in life is connected .

The 21st Century , century of dreams , century where humans have advanced and have created a world for humanity to prosper!  These were dreams people from the last few centuries visualised.
